State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the break-ins of several vehicles in the same area of Schuylkill County with numerous items and money taken. Troopers said the break-ins occurred along the 200 block of W. Washington St., 500 block of E. Grand Ave. and the unit block of S. Seventh St. in the Tower City/Porter Township area.

A total of five vehicles were entered, all unlocked, during the overnight hours of Sunday, June 26, and Monday. Removed were such items as GPS units, cash, sunglasses, five paroxetine pills and 20 Xanax pills. Total estimated cash taken was $320.Troopers are also probing an incident that occurred at the Penske Logistics property along SR61 in North Manheim Township, just south of the Pottsville city line. Unknown persons siphoned $235 worth of fuel from a truck parked on a lot at the site. The incident occurred sometime between June 24-27.Anyone with information on any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at (570) 593-2000.
