The federal Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) and the Polycythemia Vera (PV) Community Advisory Committee will hold a public meeting tonight to provide updates on investigations related to PV in communities in and around Tamaqua.
The meeting will be held at the Tamaqua Community Center, formerly known as the Mohn Building, 223 Center Street, from 6 to 8 p.m. Representatives from the ATSDR, the Pennsylvania Department of Health, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, Drexel University, and the University of Pittsburgh will be available to provide information and answer questions from community members.

Hopefully someone will get some updates. Since I am living in NC and have been in touch with Dr. Seaman (who is in Nigera) and also contacted the person taking his place I believe her first name is Elizabeth and still no follow up. Also contacted Adam Lynch he did direct me to someone no reply. I had the blood work done down here and Dr. Seaman had it sent to hospital in NY came back positive 50% mutation. I will continue to check the times news for updates. Thank God for the local paper.
