Three area people were among 12 who pleaded guilty to criminal charges in the Schuylkill County Court and were sentenced by Judge Jacqueline Russell as follows:

Larry L. Wagner, Jr., 31, of 300 1/2 Arlington Street, Tamaqua, on a dui (driving under the influence ) and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, received a sentence of 30 days to six months in the Schuylkill County Prison for the dui and a 10 days to 12 months concurrent sentence on the drug charge. He was ordered to report to the Schuylkill County Prison on Friday, August 12 at 4:30 p.m. to begin his sentence and he may participate in the work release program if he qualifies.

On the dui charge he must pay a fine of $750, pay $100 to SAE (Substance Abuse Education) fund, $50 to CJEA (Criminal Justice Enhancement Account)a $50 monthly fee for each month on probation, perform 20 hours of community service, complete the alcohol highway safety school and intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment, submit to random tests and his driver's license is suspended for 12 months. On a summary charge of careless driving was fined $25 plus $50 costs. On the drug charges he has to pay $100 to SAE, $50 to CJEA and $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab and perform 40 hours of community services.

On a summary charge of driving while his license was suspended was fined $350 plus $50 costs. Wagner was cited by Patrolman Thomas Duarte, Tamaqua Police, on the dui charge and by Patrolman Jonathan McHugh, Mahanoy City Police, on the drug charges.

Stephen F. Stripe, 47, of 490 Mountain Road, New Ringgold, dui (driving under the influence), placed on probation six months, fined $300, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, a $50 monthly probation fee, complete safety school and outpatient substance abuse treatment and perform 20 hours community service. Stripe was cited by Trooper Michael D. Marinchak on Mountain Road in Blythe Township.

Sara M. Fletcher, 20, James Street, Kelayres, Kline Township, retail theft of a cart full of mechandise from Walmart Store in Rush Township, placed on probation 18 months, pay $50 to CJEA and a $50 monthly probation fee, perform 20 hours community service and make restitution of $347 to Walmart. Fletcher was cited by Corporal Duane Frederick, Rush Township Police. On a charge of criminal conspiracy and receiving checks stolen from Mary Russo, Kelayres, was given a concurrent 18 months probation sentence, pay $50 to CJEA, perform 20 hours comunity and have no contact with victim. Fletcher was cited by Chief John Petrilla, Kline Township Police.

Thomas Edward O'Reilly, 24, Pottsville, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct, fined $300 and court costs. He was cited by Sargent William DeWald, Pottsville Police, in 1800 block of West Market Street.

Brandon E. Harner, 27, Hegins, on three counts of harassment was ordered to make restitution of $3,444.15 to Richard Geist, Hegins. for car damages; $795.11 to Michael and Aysa Cigic damages to their truck and $85.15 to county's victims compensation program. Harner was cited by Trooper Bernard Walasavage in the 500 block on Chestnut Street, Hegins.

Tanya Koch, 36, Tremont, possession of chemicals with intent to manufacture a controlled substance, was given credit for spending six days in the Schuylkill County Prison and was released on parole for 23 months, fined $350, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, a $50 monthly probation fee, perform 60 hours community service and make restitution of $368 to Bethlehem Regional Lab. Koch was cited by Schuylkill County Drug Task Force.

Charles Kille, 35, Reading, possession of chemicals with intent to manufacture a controlled substance in Tremont, was given credit for serving 20 days in the county prison and released on probation 23 months, fined $350, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, a $50 monthly probation fee, perform 60 hours community service and make restitution of $368 to Bethlehem Regional Lab. Kille was cited by county drug task force.

Michael Brian Creegan, 52, Scranton, dui, serve 48 hours to six months in the county prison beginning Saturday, August 20 at 10 a.m. and when minimum sentence is completed to be placed on parole, fined $500. pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, complete safety school and outpatient substance abuse treatment, perform 20 hours community service and driver's license suspended 12 months. Creegan was cited by Trooper Thomas Powell on Interstate 81 in Mahanoy Township.

Alicia Marie Kline, 23, Girardville, delivery of a controlled substance in Girardville, serve three months to 12 months in county prison with credit for 23 days, fined $100, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, a $50 monthly probation fee, perform 20 hours community service and make restitution of $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab and $100 to District Attorney's Drug Task Force.

Thomas James Sullivan, 37, Saint Clair, robbery by removing property from another by force, was sentenced to serve one year to two years in a state correctional institution. He is to report to the Schuylkill County Sheriff on Friday, August 5 at 9 a.m. to be transported to a state prison. On a charge of simple assault he received a six months to 12 months sentence to run concurrent, pay $50 to CJEA and make restitution of $882 to Candice Rethage, Saint Clair, whom he was reported to have assaulted and stole her purse at the intersection of East Railroad and South Morris Streets, Saint Clair. He was cited by Sargent William Dempsey, Saint Clair Police.

Matthew D. Austerberry, 42, Mahanoy City, driving while under the influence of drugs, serve 72 hours to six months in the county prison beginning, Friday, July 29 at 9 a.m. and when minimum sentence is completed to be paroled, fined $1,000, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, make restitution of $60 to Schuylkill Medical Center and $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab, perform 20 hours community service, re-engage in vocationaL rehab, submit to random tests and license suspended 12 months. He was cited by Patrolman Ronald E. Romanchik, New Castle Township Police.

Orlando Rafeal Delamota, Elizabeth, New Jersey, criminal conspiracy to deliver drugs in Schuylkill County, given credit for serving 58 days in the county jail and placed on parole for 12 months, fined $300, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, perform 40 hours of community service and make restitution of $400 to State Police Drug Task Force and $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab. He was cited by Trooper Troy Greenawald.
