Parts of Hometown, including the Hometown Commons and Wal-Mart, were without power for about an hour last night.

Generators were used at a number of main intersections as PPL crews investigated the cause to the power outage.

Rush township police and fire police also controlled traffic at larger intersections north of Hometown.

At least 94 PPL customers in Rush Township and another 120 homes in Lake Hauto were still without power last night following Thursday night's severe storms that uprooted hundreds of trees and knocked down dozens of poles.
