A Jim Thorpe man was charged after he created a scene in Summit Hill.

According to Summit Hill police, on June 11, at 1 a.m., officers were dispatched to a residence in the borough because Matthew Miller, 29, of 411 Center St., Apt. C, Jim Thorpe, was smashing the outside door of the residence. As police arrived, they observed Miller standing outside the home screaming obscenities.He was charged with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and harassment.A preliminary hearing was held, where Miller pled guilty to the disorderly conduct charge.
