The Fillies' Danielle Tristani was a perfect six-for-six from the foul line in OT, while Gillian Ferko was two-for-two. Ferko paced the Fillies (16-2) with 15 points, while Tristani finished with 12 points.

The Cardinals' Maria Wendt had 14 points, while Nicole Valley added 11.

The Blue Bombers managed to score just one field goal in the second half as the Falcons pulled away for a 60-36 Colonial League win.

With the score knotted at 11-11 after one quarter, Salisbury's Sean Baker had 10 of his game-high 17 points in the second stanza to help put the Falcons ahead 29-21 at the half.

The Falcons (12-5, 8-4) upped their lead to 45-21 entering the final quarter and never looked back.

Backing up Baker was Mike Schantz with 14 and Lloyd Irons with 10.

Jourdan Reinhart led the Bombers (6-11, 3-8) with 10 points.

Panther Valley Round Robin Tournament

Panther Valley's Nick O'Donnell (112) and Jim Thorpe's Jon Fritz (160) were the lone TIMES NEWS coverage area wrestlers to walk off the mats at Panther Valley's Round Robin Tournament as tournament champs in their respective weight classes.

The Panthers' Len Ogozalek (103) and the Olympians' Justin Mazzella (145) just fell short of titles finishing in second place, while a trio of Olympians Brian Ohl (112), James Denny (130) and Adam Rex (135) and the Panthers' Alex Lorkowski grabbed third-place honors.

Allentown Central Catholic earned the team title with 107 points, while North Schuylkill and Catasauqua tied for second-place with 103 points. Panther Valley finished in sixth place, while Jim Thorpe followed right behind in seventh.

Pleasant Valley at New Oxford Tournament

Pleasant Valley finished 10th in a field of 18 teams at the Nex Oxford Tournament over the weekend.

The Bears' Kenny Yanovich (103) and Mike Dahlstrom (130) just missed out on titles finishing second in their respective weight classes.

David Gehr (140) took home a fourth-place finish for PV, while Alex Yanovich (135) ended up fifth.

Northwestern-Bangor

The Tigers (6-5) suffered a 44-22 setback to unbeaten Pen Argyl and then later made up for it with a 45-23 win over Bangor.

The Tigers' Ethan Keichel (125), Michael Ortiz (130), Dustin Badesso (135), Bobby Clymer (152), Kyle Sorenson (160) and Levi Veppert (171) were victorious in both matches.

The Tigers' Michael Ortiz also went 2-0 with a major decision and a decision.
