Firefighters from the West Penn Fire Company and police responded to a home located at 888 Penn Drive, SR-443, in West Penn Township after an 81-year old man was helped by his neighbors and wife after he fell off his tractor and lay in the snow for about 20 minutes in 4 degree weather. Penn Mahoning and Lehighton ambulance paramedics and firefighters had to carry the man out via stretcher and through the neighbor's property due to the tractor's location and snow. West Penn Fire Police volunteers directed traffic around that part of SR-443 during the response. The man's name and condition was unknown as of press time.
