The Sunday school class of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Summit Hill, held a pre-Christmas pageant during a Sunday morning worship service.

The congregation was entertained by a unique and delightful portrayal of the Birth of Baby Jesus, resulting in laughter and chuckles as the children acted and mimed their roles.

The pageant was titled "The Fumbly Bumbly Angels" and featured a story of angels earning their places in the heavenly choir by successfully completing their assignments to be the bearers of good tidings and by telling the world of a great event, one that will save all the people on earth. The congregation was invited to participate by singing the Christmas hymns related to the story.

Participating in the pageant were Max Vermillion, Archangel; Alexis Berger, Joshua Faenza, Alex Romankow and Abigail Vermillion, angels; Rebecca Jones, Innkeeper; Megan Greenall, Mary; Bradley Hood, Joseph; Stephen Hood, Julia Romankow and Natalie Vermillion, the Three Wise Men; Austin Miller, Shepherd; and Dana Greenall, Samantha Jones and Ethan Vermillion, travelers.

All children, regardless of religious affiliation, are invited to join the Sunday school classes, which are held at 9 a.m. Sundays at the church.
