Joseph and Cindy Meyers of Slatington have announced the engagement of their daughter Lindsay to Eric Brown, son of Darryl Brown of Hamburg and Deborah McDill of Reading.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of the Allentown School of Cosmetology.

She is employed as a hair stylist at Sydney's Haircolor Concept Salon, Coopersburg.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute.

He is employed as a mechanical designer at Javen Engineering in Fort Washington.

A September 2011 wedding is planned.
