Can you sing or dance or have some other entertaining talent, Family Promise of Carbon County is inviting you to share it at the Family Promise Variety Show. Family Promise is a nonprofit organization serving homeless families in Carbon County. The Family Promise Variety Show will showcase Carbon County's local talent in a variety of performance disciplines, and everyone is invited to be a part of the festivities. If you can play the mandolin, sing, act, make people laugh or juggle, the non profit organization needs you.
Everyone is invited to be a performer or member of the audience. Everyone is invited to join in this fun event to help provide homes for families.
The goal is to have a an assortment of acts to create a wide variety of performances.
The event will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at the Mauch Chunk Museum and Cultural Center, 41 W. Broadway, Jim Thorpe. All proceeds will benefit Family Promise of Carbon County. For more information to perform or attend, contact John Drury at (570) 325-4436.
