Around 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon, New Ringgold Community Fire Company and New Ringgold Ambulance responded to a two-vehicle accident involving a Chevy HHR LT wagon and a black Cadillac SRX that occurred on Clamtown Hill, Rt. 443. A driver and passengers, one being a baby, were taken to the hospital. Their names and current conditions were unavailable as of press time today. State Police are investigating. New Ringgold Community Fire Company volunteer firefighters detoured traffic around the scene for the duration.
