The work session of the Schuylkill County Commissioners was canceled Wednesday because the courthouse did not open for business until noon due to the snow and sleet storm which struck the county late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, creating a doubleheader for the commissioners next week.

A make up work session will be held at 9 a.m on Wednesday, Feb. 9, in the Hoffman Room, which adjoins the commissioners' board room at the courthouse in Pottsville and at 10 a.m. the commissioners will move next door to their boardroom to hold the scheduled public meeting.
