Drivers and passengers of two vehicles escaped serious injury during a two-vehicle accident yesterday in New Philadelphia. Reportedly, Karen Kercheski of New Philadelphia, driving an orange Pontiac Sunfire, pulled out from Water Street into the path of Amanda Ziniewicz of Kaska, who was driving an orange Dodge Neon on Valley Street, SR209. Both drivers and their passengers were treated on scene while their vehicles were towed. Responding in addition to Schuylkill Haven Ambulance, were New Philadelphia police, fire and fire police.
