Rush Township Police are investigating a rash of burglaries reported to the department over the past few days. Four separate properties, on Fairfax Street and Claremont Avenue, were burglarized.

All of the homes were vacant and forcibly entered. The thieves took copper piping and building materials.Anyone with information may contact the department at (570) 668-4242. Rush Police Sgt. Duane Frederick suggests neighbors who see a vehicle parked at an empty home or business contact police immediately.
