State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks are investigating a one-car crash that happened at 6 p.m. Dec. 21 on South Mountain Road in South Manheim Township.
Police said Cheyenne Strausser, 18, of Cressona, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt east when she lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve. The vehicle turned counterclockwise 180 degrees and traveled across the westbound lane, going onto the north berm where it impacted a dirt embankment. Police said the force of the impact turned the vehicle 90 degrees until it went onto its driver's side and eventually came to rest on its roof.
Strausser was uninjured.
The vehicle sustained moderate damages and was towed from the scene.
