A presentation by a state senator will highlight a joint luncheon between two local associations next month.

State Sen. David Argall (R-29) will meet with members of the Greater Northern Lehigh and Palmerton Area Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, Jan. 10.

Argall will speak at the joint luncheon, which will be held at Neffs Hotel, Other Side Restaurant, along Route 873, Neffs. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. for networking. Lunch will be served at noon, followed by the program.

As part of his presentation, Argall will discuss decisions being made in Harrisburg and the impact they may have.

Those who attend can find out what is happening that specifically affects the Northern regions of the Lehigh Valley.

Ellie Passman, vice president of regional chambers, said the luncheon will give guests an opportunity to ask Argall about the latest happenings in Harrisburg, as well as network with fellow chamber members.

Those who would like to attend should RSVP to Passman 610-739-1518, or EllieP@lehighvalleychamber.org by noon Jan. 6.

The luncheon will mark the second time in recent months that the two chambers have coupled together for a joint venture.

In June, both chambers met at the American Legion, Allen O. Delke Post -16, in Slatington, as representatives from six municipalities – Palmerton Borough, Slatington Borough, Walnutport Borough, Washington Township, Lehigh Township and North Whitehall Township – gathered to provide municipal updates on future projects.
