Rush Township officials took delivery of a new 2011 Ford F550 dump truck, which was purchased for the township's road department. On hand for the delivery were: Elden Neifert, township laborer; Gene Rutch, road foreman; and Stephen W. Simchak, township supervisor. The vehicle was purchased from KME/Kovatch in Nesquehoning, through the Pennsylvania COSTARS program, at a cost of $68,783.30. The 4x4 diesel is also equipped with a stainless steel spreader and Western Pro Plus plow.
