West Penn Lions share Christmas joy

Decorating the Christmas tree inside the West Penn Annex are West Penn Elementary School kindergarten teacher Mrs. Jean Brennan, Benjamin Hehn, 7, middle, from Mrs. Vanessa Boyle's second grade class, and Owen Charest, 7, from Mrs. Donna Frantz's first grade class. Decorations on the tree were done by students as part of the school's "Helping Hands, Helping Hearts" activity.

Members of the West Penn Lions Club held their annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Community Gathering at the West Penn Annex recently. In addition to the festive tree lighting, attending families were treated to free snacks, refreshments, music, Christmas songs and visit by Santa, who asked the kids what they wanted for Christmas.
