State Rep. Doyle Heffley officially opened his Lansford office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday.
The office, on the bottom level of the Garland-Manak-Boyle American Legion Post 123, at 3 W. Ridge St., is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays.
"Eventually, we'll look at expanding upon that, but right now, with the state budget being what it is and my office budget being what it is, I'm very thankful that the folks here at the Legion have been very accommodating. They allow us space to store all of our equipment here," he said.
"They have been very gracious in helping us fulfill that commitment to have three district offices," Heffley said.
He can also be reached by calling the Lehighton office at (610) 377-6363.
