Drug arrests reported

Nesquehoning police reported on the following drug-related arrests made by officers.

Dennis L. Nedley, 31, of 17 Holland St., Nesquehoning, is facing charges of possession or delivery of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.He was arrested for an incident on Nov. 29, at his residence where police were called for an assault. While investigating the assault incident police found drugs and drug paraphernalia. Officer Timothy Wuttke made the arrest.J. Richard Litts, 59, of 127 W. Catawissa St., Apt. 3, Nesquehoning, is facing a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia for an incident on Nov. 27 about 2:32 a.m. While police were at the apartment building on another matter police noted the strong odor of marijuana coming from Litts' apartment. A further investigation led to the charge against Litts. Officer Dane O'Brien made the arrest.Christopher A. Campolo, 27, of 1839 Horace Ave., Abington, is facing charges of possession or delivery of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also is charged with tampering with evidence.The charges stem from an incident on Nov. 30 about 7:57 p.m. when officers stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation at W. Catawissa and Ratrcliff sts. After the stop and speaking with Campolo, a consent search of the vehicle was made and marijuana and other paraphernalia was found. He also admitted concealing the items under the front seat when he observed the police cruiser. Officer O'Brien made the arrest.Antonio R. August, 27, of 343 W. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, is facing charges of possession or delivery of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.He was arrested following a traffic stop on Nov. 29 at Mermon Avenue and Catawissa St. Officer O'Brien made the arrest.Michelle L. Green, 38, of 820 Interchange Rd., Kresgeville, is facing charges of possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance-methamphetime, possession of a controlled substance-methamphetime and diazepam, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The first count is a felony.She was arrested on Nov. 19 about 2:36 a.m. when police made a vehicle stop along E. Catawissa st. for an equipment violation. A consent search of the vehicle resulted in drugs being found. Officer O'Brien made the arrest.
