A Schuylkill County teen was stabbed by his father during a domestic incident. State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred about 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 12, at 67 Porter Road, Tower City, in Porter Township.

According to troopers Michael Scott Morris, 19, and his father, Warren Howard Morris, 44, got into a verbal altercation in the kitchen of the home. Warren grabbed a chair and was attempting to hit Michael with it when Michael punched Warren in the face.Michael fled the residence to his vehicle and got inside. While Michael was seated in the front of the vehicle Warren allegedly stabbed him with a steak knife in the left arm. Michael was taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville, for treatment.Troopers took Warren Morris into custody on charges of aggravated and simple assault and related counts.
