State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating several theft and a criminal mischief incident.
Troopers said Terrence J. O'Conner, 48, of 16 Rose Drive, Saylorsburg, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, was the victim of access device fraud. Troopers said someone obtained the victim's credit card number and used it to make unauthorized purchase of prescrdiption drugs at a Manhattan, N.Y., pharmacy totaling $109.29. Two additional attempts were made at different pharmacies but the charges were declined, troopers said. The incident occurred between July 31 and Aug. 3.
Troopers investigated an incident at the residence of Paige Garner, 10 Ute Trail, Albrightsville, Penn Forest Township, Carbon County. An unknown criminal attempted to steal a pack of cigarettes and a Schwinn bicycle but fled the scene. The incident occurred about 3:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 8.
At the same location the parked Buick LeSabre of Paula Levine, of Mastic, N.Y., was entered and rummaged through. Nothing was reported taken.
Troopers said a unlocked shed on a property along Kroucher Road, in Jackson Township, Monroe County, was entered and a 1970's Clinton moped stolen. The incident occurred sometime between May 15 and Aug. 4. The property is owned by Bernard J. McLaughlin, 63, of Lake Hiawatha, N.J.
Godofredo Gomez, 45, of Albrightsville, had damage done to his vehicle when somone threw several rocks at it while parked on a lot at the Mt. Effort Plaza, in Chestnuthill Township. The incident occurred sometime between between Aug. 5-6.
