Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on the following arrests made by officers.
On July 15 about 8:10 p.m. officers responded to 6106 Apache Drive, in the Pocono Farms development, in Tobyhanna, due to a domestic incident. Upon arrival officers determined that Christina Cellucci, 21, and Adesoji Akano, 20, got into a verbal altercation. As a result Akano allegedly did damage to Cellucci's vehicle. Akano was charged with criminal mischief for the damages, police said.
On Friday, Aug. 5, at 9:05 p.m. officers were conducting a DUI roving patrol and made a traffic stop along Long Pond Road and Roads End, for an equipment violation. The driver was identied as Dereck Robert Dailey, 21, of Tobyhanna. A check revealed there was an active warrant for her arrest out of Broward County, Florida, for stolen property and false verification of ownership to a pawn shop.
Dailey was placed under arrest and placed in the county prison in Snydersville pending extradition to Florida.
On Sunday, Aug. 7, about 2:11 a.m. police conducted a traffic stop along SR611 in Mt. Pocono for traffic violations. Officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Marijuana debris on clothing of the rear seat passenger was also observed. The back seat passenger was identified as Akim Flavigny, 24, of Brooklyn, N.Y.
Police said Flavigny will be charged with drug counts.
