State police at Fern Ridge reported on two crashes investigated by troopers along Monroe County roadways.

A crash occurred about 5:28 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6, along SR115 in Chestenuthill Township. Troopers said Amanda R. Costello, 34, of Albrightsville, was operating a 2005 Ford Focus southbound when it went off the road on the west side and struck the guard rail with the front passenger side.

Costello sustained minor injuries and was taken by West End ambulance to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for treatment.

She was cited for driving a vehicle at a (un) safe speed.

A one vehicle crash was reported about 12:15 p.m. on July 25 along Interstate 80 in Tunkhannock Township. Troopers said Cristian Martinez-Germosen, 39, of North Bergen, N.J., was driving a 2001 GMC Yukon eastbound when it left the road, traveled down an embankment and struck a tree.

Germosen sustained a minor injury and was treated at the scene.

He was cited for driving a vehicle at a (un) safe speed, troopers said.
