State police at Fern Ridge reported on several false alarm citations issued to businesses and an individual. The citations were issued for those charged for allegedly permitting four or more false alarm activations during a consecutive 12 month period.

Cited were Hilltop Markets, Hollywood Tans, Pocono Auto Parts, all of Brodheadsville; Falcon Crest Homes and Dollar Markets, both of Effort; and Zumar Morales, of Blakeslee.
