Schuylkill burglary being probed

State police at Frackville are investigating a burglary at a Schuylkill County residence.

Troopers said a home at 96 Marcella Road, in the village of MaryD, Schuylkill Township, and owned by Edward Pollack, MaryD, was entered sometime between July 3 and Friday, July 11.Entry was gained by cutting a padlock on a basement door. Removed from the home was about 300 feet of copper piping. Troopers said the following items were removed from the exterior of the home: hood, fenders, left door, and radiator from a 1954 "B" series Mack truck; Craftsman ATV snow plow; Craftsman wood lathe; Chevrolet two-speed PowerGlide transmission; sickle bar mower; two sets of a Ford Mustang front disc brake suspension; and a ATV tow along trailer. Total estimated value of the missing items was set at $2,825. Troopers said Pollack is offering a $500 cash reward for any information that leads to the arrest of the criminals involved.Anyone with information is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
