Weatherly started as a strong as it finished to score a 11-5 non-league win over Moravian Academy.

A late inning surge helped the Crusaders run away with a 9-2 Colonial League win over the Blue Bombers.

Lead-off hitter Michelle Rickert (single, double) finished as the Bombers' lone multiple hitter.

Christiana Donofry led the Crusaders with two doubles, while Erika Esposito delivered a three-run homerun in the sixth.

Catasauqua got the best of Tamaqua for a 7-3 non-conference victory.

Geseck paced the Roughies with a triple, homerun, two runs scored and two RBI. Kern pitched in a win on the mound as well as a solo homer in the first inning.

Jordan Nowacki led the Blue Raiders with two singles, two runs scored and two RBI, while Brianna Boyle recorded a single and a RBI.

Williams Valley only needed three innings to score a 15-0 non-conference win over the Lady Olympians.

Joy Mallory was the lone Olympians to record a single off of Williams Valley pitcher Cassidy Pinchorski.

Kaila Deitrich led Williams Valley with a single, homer and three RBI, while Lacey Bixler contributed a triple and two RBI.

Pottsville-Panther Valley

Pottsville used the strength of its pitching and some timely hits to cruise to a 15-0 Schuylkill League Division I win over Panther Valley in three innings because of the 15-run rule.

The Tides' Bryanna Snowell didn't allow a hit, while striking out six Panthers and walking one.

Kelyn Jones' highlighted Pottsville's nine-run second inning with a three-run homer.

Lehighton-Catasauqua

Jordyn Homyak's four goals highlighted Lehighton's 6-3 non-league win over Catasauqua.

Homyak scored a hat-trick in the first half, while adding another goal in the second half. Teammates Amanda Acabou and Kacy Beck scored the other goals.

Kristina Schnell, Beck and Carissa Sevrin were credited with assists.

Kayla Troutman accounted for 12 saves in goal for the Indians (2-6).

BOYS TENNIS

Tamaqua-Blue Mountain

In a non-conference match called due to rain, Blue Mountain was handed a 3-1 win over Tamaqua.
