Writing represents one of many creative avenues for those with the passion. Yet another side of writing exists – the business side.
Stephanie J. Beavers, owner of Refining Your Written Image, will share what some consider less creative writing – business writing, editing and proofreading, document development and other writing-related opportunities. Learn how to put your writing skills to work by creating press releases, resume and cover letters, PowerPoint presentations, web articles and other business documents. Beavers will also share how she started and grew her business.
Writing professionally since 2009, Beavers launched her writing services business, Stephanie J. Beavers… Refining Your Written Image, last year, offering editing, proofreading, ghostwriting and other writing services. Beavers incorporates her experience in the telecommunications industry with her professional certifications in paralegal studies, marketing and EEO compliance and complaint handling to create valuable services for the business sector.
Join Beavers to learn more about another side of writing at the next meeting of the Black Diamond Writers' Network. The meeting will run from 10 a.m. to noon, Sat., May 21, 2011, at the Tamaqua Public Library, 30 S. Railroad St., Tamaqua.
