Rachel A. Selert, daughter of Robert and Michele Selert, Packer Township, and Jeremy D. Witner, son of Brian and Janet Witner, Weatherly, were united in marriage by the Rev. Robert von Frisch in a double ring ceremony at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Packer Township on Oct. 9, 2010.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Katie Miller, Weatherly, as her maid of honor and Jennifer Neal, York, Pa. as her matron of honor.Bridesmaids were Kasey Minnick, Weatherly; Ashley Kessell, Weatherly; Julianne Michalik, Shillington, Pa.; and Shannon Byers, Allentown. The junior bridesmaid was Morgan Wojciechowski, Port Clinton, Ohio. Flower girls were Gillian and Tabitha Hinkle, Packer Township.The bridegroom chose his brother, Jeffrey Witner of Coopersburg, as best man. Groomsmen were Chad Gerhard, Weatherly; Jonathon Grega, Weatherly; Matthew Farrow, Weatherly; Andrew Weston, Weatherly, and Thomas Wojciechowski, Port Clinton, Ohio. Ring Bearers were Tyler and Jacob Hinkle, Packer Township.Following a reception at Genetti's Ballroom, the couple left for a honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii. They now reside in Weatherly.The bride is the granddaughter of Helen J. Michalik of Summit Hill, and Mr. and Mrs. Arnie Selert of Weatherly; and great-granddaughter of Verna Gerhard, Packer Township.She is a 2004 graduate of Weatherly Area High School and a 2010 graduate of Misericordia University with a bachelor of health science degree and a master's degree in physical therapy. She is currently employed as a therapist at Weatherwood Nursing Home with Guardian Rehabilitation.The bridegroom is the grandson of Donald Morgan, Weatherly; and Mr. and Mrs. Alburtis C. Witner II. He is also a 2004 graduate of Weatherly Area High School and a 2008 graduate of Penn State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering technology. He is employed as an engineer at Kovatch Mobile Equipment.The bride was honored at a shower given by her mother and bridal party with a Vineyard theme at The Citizen's Fire Company, Weatherly. The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bridegroom's parents at Top Shelf in Hazleton.
