The Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce and the Leadership and Workforce Development Center of Lehigh Carbon Community College have teamed up to present a Lunch and Learn Series, designed to help business owners and their employees. The four class sessions will be held at the LCCC Scheller Center, 301 Van Gelder St., Tamaqua.

The Lunch and Learn Educational Series will consist of four classes: Internet Security on May 11; Time Management on May 18; Relaxation Through Music on June 1; and Customer Services on June 8. Each class will be held from 11:45 a.m. until 1 p.m.to minimize the disruption to the work day. Maureen Donovan, chairperson of the chamber's education committee, notes "These programs are a great opportunity to provide training to employees without sending them to classes outside of normal work hours. Business owners and/or entrepreneurs will also benefit from the sessions." Participants are enouraged to bring a brown bag lunch.
