Thirty-five more property owners in Blue Mountain School District will be paying more taxes in 2011 according to rulings handed down by the Schuylkill County Assessment Appeals Board from appeals filed by the school district. The district claimed the market value of the properties is higher than listed in the assessment books based on recent sales. In two days of hearings of Blue Mountain School District appeals the board has increased the assessment on 66 properties.
