The Tamaqua Area School District is offering inactivated injectable influenza vaccine (seasonal flu vaccine) through the Pennsylvania Department of Health. This vaccine is free of charge for all interested students', kindergarten through grade 12.

Paperwork is available on the school website or at all the schools.If you are interested in having your child receive the vaccine at school, please read the information sheet, complete the consent form and return to homeroom teachers by Friday, Sept. 17.Doses are limited and will be available on a first come basis. Vaccines will be administered to only those students with a signed consent form.For questions or concerns contact the school nurse in the building in which your child attends school.
