Twenty eight property owners located in the Blue Mountain School District will be paying more taxes in 2011 as a result of rulings made by the Schuylkill County Assessment Appeal Board sitting in session at the courthouse in Pottsville. The appeals filed to increase the assessments on the property were by the Blue Mountain School District based on sale prices paid for the properties which are higher than listed on the current assesment books.
