The Mahoning Valley Lions Club held its first "Emergency Services Day" on Saturday. Participating were the Mahoning Valley Fire Company, Mahoning Valley Ambulance, Mahoning Township Police Department, Carbon County Sheriff Dwight Nothstein, and the PennSTAR life flight helicopter. The members of the various organizations educated the public as well as showed off their newest equipment to give a better insight to the public of services which are available to them.
