Recently the Panther Valley Middle School Student Council officers traveled to The Carbon County Friends of Animals and the Carbon County Environmental Center to present donations. As a result of the Red Ribbon Week, the students collected $800.75 to be divided among the two places. They sold chances (paper red chain links) to be in the dodgeball tournamenet and to win prizes from community businesses. They then went to the Environmental Center where they gave $400.
