The American Cancer Society will sponsor a "Look Good ... Feel Better" makeover workshop at the Blue Mountain Health System, Lehighton.

Local female cancer patients will have the opportunity to brighten their day on Monday, Nov. 22 by attending the makeover workshop.

During this two-hour sessions, scheduled to be held from 4-6 p.m., trained cosmetologists will meet with patients to discuss how to use makeup and accessories to minimize appearance related side effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatment.

Look Good ... Feel Better is offered in a group setting, and provides participants with cancer education, information and support. Each woman will learn to apply makeup, using kits provides through American Cancer Society's partnership with the Cosmetics, Toiletry, and Fragrance Association and the National Cosmetology Association.
