Schuylkill crashes

State police have reported on the following crashes in Schuylkill County:

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 12:16 p.m. on Saturday along Route 443 in East Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said John P. Cassidy, 68, of West Conshohocken, was traveling northbound in a 2019 Ford Fusion and approaching the intersection with South Market Street. Cassidy proceeded straight through the intersection without clearance and struck a 2004 Nissan Sentra driven by Angela M. Reager, 31, of Pottsville. Both vehicles had to be towed.

Troopers cited Cassidy for the crash.

• A Schuylkill County all-terrain vehicle driver is facing charges following an incident on Saturday.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Christopher Ostrousky, 29, of Pottsville, was stopped at 7:06 p.m. at Eagan and West Railroad streets in Pottsville, operating a Polaris four-wheeler. The vehicle was found to be unregistered and uninsured. Also, Ostrousky had drug paraphernalia in his possession.

The paraphernalia was seized and the ATV was towed from the scene.

Drug charges are pending against Ostrousky.
