A road rage incident led to charges being filed against a Carbon County resident.

State police at Lehighton said James R. Costenbader, 39, of Palmerton, was charged with harassment following an incident that occurred at the intersection of Spruce Hollow and Hahns Dairy roads, in Lower Towamensing Township.Troopers allege that Costenbader grabbed/ pushed and spit on a four-year-old girl and a 44-year-old man from Palmerton at the location stated. Troopers said Costenbader's actions happened as a result of a road rage incident. The incident occurred about 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, troopers added.
