Monroe burglaries

State police at Lehighton are investigating two burglaries that occurred at two Monroe County locations.

Troopers said the residence of Eugene Tierney, 69, of 280 Kunkletown Rd., Saylorsburg, Ross Township, was entered by unknown means and a laptop computer was removed. The criminals also broke into a garage and removed a Sears air wrench. The incident occurred sometime between May 14 and 20.The home of Richard Arthur Martini, 59, of 5401 Silver Springs Blvd., in Kresgeville, Polk Township, was entered by unknown means and removed was a 270 Remington rifle. The incident occurred sometime between May 17 and 20.Troopers also probed a theft incident. Darren Dean Brown, 45, of 5514 Kunkletown Rd., Saylorsburg, Ross Township, reported his 2004 Honda Recon all terrain vehicle (ATV), and a Stihl brand chain saw were stolen from his property. Total value of the missing items was set at $2,700.Robert John Lippert, 19, of Kunkletown, reported while his vehicle was parked at E-Z Pull Junkyard, in East Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County, someone removed a back left brake light.Raymond Frinzi, 43, of 618 Frable Drive, Kunkletown, Eldred Township, reported someone threw eggs at his residence sometime between 10 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 21-22.Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call troopers at (610) 377-4270.
