Gregus wins the mile, breaking the tape in 4:53.5, while DeMatto claims the javelin with a throw of 160-5. Lansford's Russell "Bussy" Early competes in the 180 low hurdles for the first ever in a meet and comes away with gold. Other locals to earn first-place finishes include Summit Hill's Dick Ackerman (pole vault) and Tamauqua's Jack Zeigler (tie in high jump).
