Dear Editor:

A message to my former patients and colleagues:

As you may have heard via personal letter or the media, I am currently unable to provide medical care to my patients. I deeply regret my poor judgment that led to this situation, as it has created great discomfort to my family, my former colleagues at Carbon Medical Associates and Blue Mountain Health System, and especially to the families who have come to depend on me for their medical care throughout the years.

I offer this public apology to all those I've disappointed and inconvenienced. I can only hope that you may someday forgive me.

Thank you to my colleagues for the honor of working with you, and thank you to my patients for the honor of caring for you. I hope that one day I will be able to resume my medical career.
