A Lehigh County motorcyclist is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 7:15 p.m. on Friday, April 30.

State police at Lehighton said Theodore Strohl, 46, of Slatington, was stopped along SR248 eastbound at the Palmerton Exit in Palmerton for a traffic violation while operating a 2000 Harley Davidson bike.Strohl was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest. Troopers said charges will be filed.
