Jeep crashes, catches fire

The driver of this Jeep is lucky to be alive after he was pulled from the burning wreckage by Nesquehoning Chief of Police Sean Smith. The crash occurred about 4 p.m. Tuesday on a snow covered route 93. The unit came to rest on its side then burst into flames. Smith was patrolling the roadway when he came across the accident. The roadway was closed for several hours.
