The Borough Park was a maze of colorful eggs as The Palmerton Exchange Club celebrated their twenty-fifth year of sponsoring the annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Park. Members Bob and Nancy Thompson and family have given their time and talents to organize the hunt each year. This year 2,200 plastic eggs were placed throughout the Palmerton Park. Many children ages 1-10, along with parents and grandparents watchING, came out to take part in the hunt. Age groups were divided up and special candy prizes were given for those finding lucky eggs. A raffle was held afterwards for a variety of items ranging from stuffed animals for the younger set and gift sets for adults. Taylor won the chocolate Easter bunny in the egg hunt and was lucky again in winning the large stuffed orange duck during the raffle.
