Twelve area residents were among 27 who were admitted into the Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition (ARD) probation program recently in Schuylkill County court.

A person does not admit guilt in entering the program, which is for first time offenders. District Attorney James P. Goodman made the motion to admit them to the program. President Judge William E. Baldwin placed each in the program for a year, unless otherwise noted, and imposed conditions as follows:

Patrick McAndrew, 58, of 133 Skyline Drive, Tamaqua, driving under the influence (DUI), $500 assessment to defray cost of the program, pay $300 to Substance Abuse Education (SAE) fund, $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account (CJEA), receive outpatient counseling, make restitution of $60 to Schuylkill Medical Center, perform 10 hours community service and driver's license suspended 12 months. On a summary charge of disregarding the traffic lane was fined $25 plus $50 costs. McAndrew was cited by Patrolman Richard Bekesy, Tamaqua police.

Alfred Sebastian, 29, of 174 Bernhard Road, Tamaqua, DUI, $500 assessment, $300 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab, receive intensive outpatient counseling, perform 10 hours community service and license suspended 12 months. On a summary charge of failing to drive in the right lane was fined $25 plus $50 costs. He was cited by Chief John Petrilla, Kline Township police.

Carla R. Theisen, 45, of 238 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, $350 assessment, $100 to SAE fund and $50 to CJEA. She was cited by Patrolman Pete Sandor, Jr., Tamaqua Police.

Karli I. Thomas, 21, of 256 Fifth St., Coaldale, DUI, $500 assessment, $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, 10 hours community service and license suspended 12 months. On a charge of careless driving fined $25 plus $50 costs. Thomas was cited by Patrolman Jeremy Talanca, Coaldale police.

Ajay G. Bajaria, 24, of 49 Frankford Avenue, .Tamaqua, DUI, $500 assessment, pay $300 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, perform 10 hours of community service and driver's license is suspended 60 days. Bajaria was cited by Trooper Matthew Barrett when stopped on Interstate 81 in Kline Township.

Aaron L. Macker, 27, of 238 E. Broad St., Apt. 1, Tamaqua, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, $350 assessment, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA and make restitution of $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab. Macker was cited by Patrolman Pete Sandor Jr., Tamaqua police.

Karen Renee Maisonet, 35, of 221 W. Abbott St., Lansford, DUI, $500 assessment, $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, receive outpatient counseling, perform 10 hours community service and license suspended 60 days. On a charge of failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic was fined $25 plus $50 costs.

Katlin Nicole Frohnheiser, 18, of 43 Yellow Run Road, Jim Thorpe, retail theft of 16 items from Walmart Store, Rush Township, $350 assessment, pay $50 to CJEA and make restitution of $102.88 to the store.

Keri J. Taschler, 32, of 856 Edgemont Avenue, Palmerton, theft of a motorcycle and snow plow off property of Lewis Zavitsky, 46 W. Ruddle St., Coaldale, $350 assessment. Taschler was cited by Chief Timothy Delaney, Coaldale police.

Breana Lyn Lyons, 21, of 226 E. Washington St., McAdoo, DUI, $500 assessment, $300 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, 10 hours community service and license suspended 60 days. Simona Kline, 28, Pottsville, theft by deception pertaining to terms to live in a Pottsville Housing unit, $350 assessment, pay $50 to CJEA and make restitution of $5,487 to Pottsville Housing Authority.

Alexander L. Brandecker, 231, Orefield, DUI, $500 assessment, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, receive outpatient counseling, perform 10 hours community servcie and driver's license suspended 30 days. On a charge of doing 67 miles-per-hour in a 45 zone on SR209 in Coaldale was fined $69 plus $63.50 costs.

David Richard Zerby, 21, Pottsville, theft from Turkey Hill MIni Mart, Ashland, $350 assessment, pay $50 to CJEA and make restitution of $28.35 to the store.

Crystal Gail Kreinbrook, 31, Shoemakersville, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, assessed $350, pay $50 to CJEA, $100 to SAE fund and make restitution of $226 to Bethlehem Regional Lab. Kreinbrook was cited by Sgt. Robert W. Phillips, Schuylkill Haven police.

Remo E.
