Western Pocono Community Library begins reading program

The Western Pocono Community Library will be holding a 10-week Summer Reading Program from June 15-Aug. 19. This year's theme is "Make a Splash at Your Library."

Infants through children in second grade will meet on the following days and times: Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Wednesdays at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and Thursdays at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.There will be a separate program for any student who is in third grade through sixth grade. The theme for this group is "Make Waves at Your Library." Days and times for this age group are: Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m., Wednesdays at 1 p.m. and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.New this year, Western Pocono Community Library will also be holding an Adult Summer Reading Program. The theme is "Water Your Mind at Your Library."This year's Summer Reading Program will include decorating shells, making pirate hats and even learning to hula dance. Keep an eye out for special guest appearances throughout the summer.
