Outgoing president Ginny Novy chose as her President's Project donations to the three fire companies and three basketball hoops. The hoops, installed by the Nesquehoning Street workers, were placed in the back of the Nesquehoning Recreation Center and two at the Hauto Park.
The Nesquehoning Woman's Club recently held installation of new officers for the next two years. The outgoing president was Ginny Novy, left. New officers are, from left, Judy Moon, president; Connie Kravelk, treasurer; Carol Zickler, vice president; and Nancy Kevilly, secretary. The dinner was held at Normal Square Inn. The installing officer was Madeline Ligenza. Executive board will hold a meeting at the home of Judy Moon on Monday, Aug. 9 at 7 p.m.
