Supporters of Tamaqua Police Officer Matt Bynon, who has been diagnosed with Goblet Cell Carcinoma, are planning two events for the upcoming weeks.
First is a spaghetti dinner, June 19, at the Tamaqua Elks, 301 W. Broad St. Hours will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Advance tickets are available at the Tamaqua Police Department, rear 320 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, or by calling 570-668-3272. This event is being sponsored by the police department at
B.P.O. Elks Lodge 592.A Chinese Auction/ Bake Sale is being planned for June 27 at the Lakeside Ballroom. To donate items, call (570) 225-8952, (570) 225-6325 or (570) 905-8014. Free entertainment will be provided from noon to 4 p.m. that day by DJ MIXX. Doors open at noon.
