Towamensing remained undefeated in Panther Valley Little League 9-10 year-old Tournament competition with a pair of wins.

On Tuesday, Towamensing defeated Franklin Township Gray 8-1. The winning pitcher was Cody Waterhouse. He gave up one hit, two walks, and struck out seven batters.

The top hitters for Towamensing were Ryan Yacone who went 3 for 3, Monte Baez with a double and a triple, and Tanner Burnett with a triple. The Franklin Township pitcher was Zach Crum, who also hit a triple.

Towamensing also blanked Tamaqua White by a 9-0 score. The winning pitcher was Wade Haydt with six strike outs, one walk, and he gave up one hit to Aaron Delpais. The starting pitcher for Tamaqua was Jaime Ketchledge.

Towamensing still has to play Tamaqua Blue and Franklin Township White, who faced each other Tuesday night in a battle of unbeatens. Towamensing hosts Tamaqua Blue on Thursday at 6 p.m.
