Matthew T. Edmonds (shirtless), 21, of 33 N. Railroad St., Tamaqua, was arraigned yesterday on drug related charges filed by Tamaqua Police. According to the affadavit of probable cause, confidential informants were used to make controlled drug buys from Edmonds on April 8 (heroin) and April 28 (cocaine). The charges include four counts of possession with intent to deliver, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of criminal use of a communication's facility. Edmonds was transported to the Schuylkill County Prison, Pottsville, by Tamaqua Police Cpl. Richard Weaver (rear) and Patrolman Anthony Stanell, where he was video arraigned before duty District Judge James Kilker. He was lodged in the county jail in lieu of $35,000 (ten percent) bond for each set of charges.
